Mother Daughter Camp Courage

Ky kick started 2023 by co-hosting a Mother Daughter Camp Courage run by Girl Shaped Flames. Over the three days Ky got to talk with the Mothers and Daughters and help guide them to find their courage within. She spoke of her own journey, which can be viewed here, sharing techniques that helped her survive and thrive in the Hollywood stunt spotlight but also alone in nature. Ky further shared her knowledge of survival skills during a short hike. Face paint night revealed Ky’s spirit animal to be an eagle as she similarly assesses situations from a distance to then proceed with determination and confidence in achieving a goal. The camp rounded to a close with a night of karaoke, an epic water-balloon fight and creation of individual posters to remind camp participants of their individual growth at camp.
